Let me start by saying the girls had a great 1st Halloween. We started the day by visiting Grandma
Pondillo's old school so the girls got to see lots of people there. Then we went over to see Grandpa
Kees real quick so he could see their costumes first hand. Then finally we went over to my work because they were having a
Halloween party and a lot of the employees dress up. The girls were
mesmerized by all the different people at my work in lots of creative costumes. They were
extremely good going to people without fear, even when they were dressed up! So we really got to show off the strawberry costumes. Unfortunately, since they were so darn cute as strawberries we are setting the bar high for costumes and it is going to be hard to beat this one next year!
They were exhausted by the time we got back in the car and took a long nap when we got home. I was able to capture a few pictures though before they went to bed. After catching some
zzz's, we were so excited to open a present from Aunt Sara, Uncle
Bri, Katie and Colin. It was an assortment of
Halloween geared treats for the girls that they can actually eat (since of course they can't do candy). We got teething bars, assorted baby puff treats and even dinner (sweet potatoes and apples)....how festive! Aunt Sara gets a A+ for the creativity!
