Rainbow Art

So Isabelle's art has turned to everything is rainbow colors. Yes, even her homework. Each letter is a different color. Takes a long time but she insists and I must say it looks very pretty when she is done.

Dental CheckUp

So believe it or not Isabelle is the easier one at dental check ups. Ava is way more nervous but still does what she needs to for mommy. All was well and another cavity free check up!

Shades

The girls love to pay dress up and usually that consists of stealing something from mommy and daddy's room. Today it was glasses!

AJ & Kaelin's 4th Birthday

Everyone had a good time celebrating AJ & Kaelin's (school classmates) birthday party at the Tree Pad in Malta.

16 Months

16 Months stats for our little Moo!

Height 29 1/2 and weight is 20.1 lbs. Therefore, she is still short but light which = chunky monkey thighs! Love them too.

Ava Rocks!

So proud of My little Ava this week...not only did she answer in chapel yesterday morning in front of all the big kids the correct answer to the question "who was the 1st president" but she brought home star student award this week! She rocks in my book :)

Love Letters

From February 1st to Valentine's Day I had people leave little notes to each of the girls in their mailboxes. Telling them why everyone loves them and thinks they are so special. They enjoyed reading their own notes and each others. It was a fun activity I hope we make a yearly tradition.

Girl Power

This week the girls had an afterschool activity with a mixed age group. Isabelle came out looking upset. I asked why, she said one of the older boys (while pointing him out) called her a baby. She then proceeded to tell me that it was ok though (with hands flying and with sassy attitude) cause she told him she was no baby cause she was 3 and he was only 5. Then she told me and I quote" Mom, it was ok ...cause I gave him a run for his money. He was not gonna boss me around." LOVE HER CONFIDENCE & SASSY NATURE. Well then Ava overheard and said you should have told me Isabelle and I would have talked to him. Next time call me. (OKAY, LOVE THE BIG SIS SAVE) and Isabelle responded, next time I will whistle and you can run over. LOVE LOVE LOVE MY GIRLS!!

Party Time

Fun times at the school Valentine's Day party. The girls made their own valentine's boxes this year for their friend's to fill!

Rock'n Their Heart Wear

The girls had special Valentine's day shirts they made in school to wear on Heart Day so I made one for Maddie to match too. Love how Ava and Belle decided to rock some stylish poses for their pictures. And who can not love Maddie and her energy!

Creating Valentine's

The girls each made great Valentine's for their classmates. Ava made 3 different superhero pops and Isabelle made "I DIG YOU" sand shovel with m&ms. Perfect for both their personalities. Best part is they did a great job helping me in every step of the process this year.

Movie Date

MTA Father & Daughter Dance

Ava & Isabelle got to go to their 1st Father & Daughter on February 4th! I have to say I was a bit jealous that they had a special thing that I was not invited to but I also liked the idea of them having special time with daddy. I just wish I could have sent him with a video attached to his suit jacket. He did some quick iphone pictures of the girls having fun and sent them to me while they were there. Too sweet :)
