Wet Fun
The end of May brought some warm weather so the girls had some wet fun! Day 1, we tried the sprinkler. Ava loved it and Belle not so much. She did not like being splashed!

She loved making the sprinklers come up...being surprised made her smile!

Bronx Zoo
FAO...Toy Land
The weekend after Mother's Day was my real Mother's Day treat as I got to go to NYC with my girls and my wonderful hubby. First stop....FAO!
The girls were so good. They just wanted to check it all out!
Then the book room had story time...perfect timing for my girls visit. They loved it.
Then some art time....another huge plus!

I have to say they were pretty into the stuffed animals. We did end up picking up two toys for them but it was under $70 total so I think we got easy. We probably could have gotten out with nothing but poor Belle just kept asking daddy to carry the new toys after he would put them down so how could we not get them (and I have to add now almost 1 month later they are still playing with the toys so good purchases in my mind). I was surprised (not shocked though) that they walked right by the doll section and on to the boy section.

So I have been a bad blogger lately cause I have been swamped between photography sessions, still working PT at SI Group and watching my girlies! No excuse not to document their cuteness. So anyways, here goes with some funny/cute/ adorableness from my dollies...
The girls love to blow kisses and tell the person to put them in their pockets to save them for later.
We went to the doctor about a month ago and both girls weighed 24.6 lbs...how crazy is that!
Isabelle was on a kick recently saying she had a P-R-O-B-L-E-M! I came home from work and she said mommy mommy I have a PROBLEM! Oh you do was my reply....too cute! Oh yeah she also likes to say "Oh Man" when she doesn't like something.
Ava still loves her pirates so loves to put on her pirate hat and tell me (and everyone else) to walk the plank!
Isabelle likes to hoard her food. She asks for a couple of pieces of whatever she is eating (usually treats or fries) and then just keeps them in her hand for later. She'll hold on to them forever or until I make her eat them or throw them out.

Graduation from Little Wonders

At the end of May, the girls graduated from their 2 year old preschool program which they attended on Fridays since January (little before they turned 2) for 1 1/2 hrs. It was a great experience and they did really well with it. I still remember the 1st day I dropped them off wondering if they would be upset with me gone. Nope! Ava went to one corner to play with the toys and Belle started at the art work table. So the graduation was a bittersweet moment since my girlies are growing up! Their teachers, Miss Jen and Miss Kristen, were also great so they will be missed for sure!
So for the memory aspect, this graduation was definitely interesting as it was a group of around 10 2 year old children. The teachers did a great job trying to get them to sit still and focus but once the 1st one was off, the rest started to rumble. I think Isabelle was the 3rd to go to the playground in the middle of the ceremony! Ava sat the entire time, although playing with her shoe! So the pictures above are well suited to the mood the girls were in. They looked adorable in their hats and dresses that Aunt Sara had given them awhile back but unfortunately no good pictures were had but at least we can still remember the day. Grandma Mary came with me thank god to wrangle the troops as Daddy was stuck at work. Now on to a new program this fall!
