Ringling Bros & Barnum & Bailey Circus

The girls went to their 1st circus today with Grandma and Grandpa Kees, Uncle Bri, Cousins Katie and Colin and Dave and I. We ended up getting there 1 hr early since we thought we could go on the floor before hand (apparently they only do that at night shows and not matinees....lesson learned) and the show was 2 1/2 hrs long but all 4 kids did great! Our seats were great and there was so much to see and absorb that it kept their attention the entire time. Or at least the entire time with little cat naps for each of them. Belle was the 1st to catch some zzz's, followed by Colin but both woke up at the intermission ready to go for the rest of the show. Katie was the next and Ava stayed up the entire time but the last 15 minutes. Ava was in awe of everything! Grandpa treated the girls to a DVD copy too so they can watch it over and over.

Belle was hysterical when the show started and the clowns came out she started really laughing and getting excited. She really got a kick out of it.

Tigers and Elephants oh my!

I think the girls loved the jumbo screens too...bet they wish our house had one of those.
